Who to start Brady vs Ryan and Welker vs M Williams

Hi Guys,

Need a little last minute advice. I normally never bench a Brady caliber player, but this week he is traveling to the west coast (east coast teams tend to NOT do as well on the west coast) and Brady no longer has Moss to throw to. Ryan faces the bengals who have been average lately. I guess my only hope for Brady is they fall behind early and have to throw all day.

Same question for Welker, do I start him now that he drawing double coverage against a top randed pass D or do I go with the hot rookie Mike Williams (TB) playing catch up the saints all day.

I will be glad to weigh in on your question, leave a link and I'll respond when I get back around noon.

I would not bench Brady, but would start Williams over welker

Ok, first off, WW does not draw doubles as this is extremely hard to do against a slot receiver. The best a defense can do is drop a safety back and focus on him to limit his YAC. I would expect something like 7 catches for 60 yds from him against a good SD secondary. Second, MW plays against St. Louis not the Saints. St. Louis has been pretty good against the pass this year, but #1 WR have done pretty well against them. I would expect 60-80 yards and a score out of Williams.

As for Brady vs Ryan, I think I would go with never sit your studs. This game seems to be setting up to be high scoring so go with Brady.

This is a no brainer. Brady and Wells.

I would go with Brady (throw first team), and Williams of TB, not sure how much Welker will be used, because they spread the ball around in NE.
