Reading over on Yahoo that Williams hurt his foot.
Any Carolina fans (if there are any) have any news on this?

DeAngelo Williams (foot) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Jonathan Stewart is a borderline top-12 fantasy play at running back. He's a strong bet for 20 carries, with Mike Goodson playing on passing downs. In three career starts, Stewart has averaged more than 150 rushing yards per game.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Panthers are "strongly considering" placing DeAngelo Williams (foot) on injured reserve.
After reporting last week that Williams was expected to return in Week 11, Schefter now writes that the strained arch on Williams' foot "might be too much to overcome this year." Beat writer Darin Gantt has backed up the report but says it's too early to count out Williams, who's in his contract year, retuning to the Panthers in 2011. It's obviously a big blow to fantasy owners even though Williams has been a disappointment this season. With Jonathan Stewart's (concussion) status still up in the air, Mike Goodson is looking like the featured back in Carolina for the foreseeable future.

Panthers placed RB DeAngelo Williams on injured reserve with a sprained left foot, ending his season.
Williams finishes with career lows across the board, even dating back to his days behind DeShaun Foster on the depth chart. The contract-year back presumably had a setback with his foot injury, which was only revealed to be a sprain. He was shut down with seven games left, so it's hard to imagine that the injury wasn't something more serious. Williams, 27, is no lock to return to penny-pinching Carolina in 2011. The Panthers don't figure to let him walk in free agency, but could franchise tag him and place him on the trade block to get something in return.
