Oh No Romo!!!..Need to pick up a QB...Please help..

OK...was sitting pretty at 5-1 going into last night. Down by 18 and had Romo and Williams going..No problem to score 18 pts until Romo breaks his collarbone....I lose the game and now at 5-2...some qb's available on the waiver, but a team has Cassel and he doesn't use him, plus he's in DEAD last..who should I pickup or who should I offer to get Cassel (he's pretty weak at RB)

Honestly I don't think Cassel is your answer. His numbers are below the guys on your ww and he is on the ww in most of my leagues. I think you need to pick up both Fitz and Freeman and play matchups. Drop some combo of Romo (depends on injury update today gone for year, or 6 weeks), Avant, or Daniels.

I think Cassel is serviceable at least TD wise but Fitz is the better option as the teams lack of Defensive play will keep Ryan throwing all day every Sunday to keep them in the game. He is on fire and has some under appreciated weapons who will make him look good weekly.

Im in a similar situation. I wouldnt trade for Cassell unless hes willing to take crayton or avant. Pick up Fitzgerald for now and I would explore trying to trade for Matt Stafford if anything.

You have depth at runningback so you may be able to trade Fred Jackson for Matt Stafford or trade Felix Jones for anyone from Jay Cutler to Matt Schaub.
