Who to trade for Big Ben? whir.

Postby pbmonkeybowl » Tue Oct 26, 2010 7:22 pm

I have Cutler and McNabb. Looking to upgrade at QB, and the guy who has Peyton also has Big Ben. So now that Manning's bye is over, he's open to a trade (for BR, not Peyton), he's in last place. Here is my team:

QB: Cutler; McNabb
RB: Mendenhall, Jahvid Best, Lynch, Beanie Wells, J. Stewart
WR: Randy Moss, Jennings, Mike Williams (SEA), Amendola
TE: Vernon Davis and Zach Miller
K: Cundiff
D: Bears

We start 2RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, no flex.

He could use a TE and definitely could use RB help. Is it too much to give him one of my TEs, like Miller, plus a guy like Best or Lynch? I could ask for Big Ben and maybe a WR in return, he has guys like Branch and Steve Johnson (in addition to the higher-tier guys like Hines, but I doubt he'd give up that much unless I gave him a better RB.)

Really appreciate any thoughts and will help if you leave a link.

Thanks.

That's a really tough one.

V. Davis is a stud, so Miller is a good trade. Do you think you could get Ben for Miller and J-Stew? If not, then maybe Lynch, but not Best. You could definitely use some more WR depth. If he goes for the above trade, you will have an open spot for a waiver WR (maybe Evans). Otherwise, you could try as you suggested and see if he would go for Miller and Wells for Big Ben and someone like Branch or Johnson.

Thanks.
