Crayton, Bess, or Steve Johnson (WHIR ASAP!)

Postby ICanGoAllTheWay » Tue Oct 26, 2010 11:37 pm

Ok so all my WR's are on bye this week. I'm starting Fitzpatrick this week (my QB's are on bye too), and the guy i'm playing against this week has Phillip Rivers. So my question is, is it better to matchup a WR such as Steve Johnson with my QB Fitzpatrick, or is it better to go with Crayton who matches up with my opponents QB (Rivers)? Or does it not really matter?

It got me thinking. If I go with Johnson, if Fitz has a bad game, then I take a double blow because Johnson will have a bad game too. Of course it can work in the opposite way, with them both having good games. On the other side, if I play Crayton it may negate some of the damage Rivers does, but at the same time if I want Crayton to do well, I need to hope for his QB Rivers to do well too.

So what would you guys do? I can always go an alternate route and take Davone Bess.

Leave a link and i'll help in return.

i'd start steve Johnson, i'm a big believer in you start your studs, and he has been nothing but since fitz took over at qb...crayton just isn't that good, don't believe in starting the wr of the oppsing opponette, just start your best players....and it defintly helps that you have Fitzpatrick to get you double points every time him and steve johnson connect, makes steve a even better player than he already was over crayton. Best of Luck.

and with my question, deangelo had a pretty nasty injury last week, but he came back in the game, thats why i was thinking of picking up stewert...and on hart and white...brown and addai both missed practice today, and gonzalaz is still dealing with a high ankle spain, i would still pick him up over white, but gozalaz was picked up last week...know all that, where would you rank those players now?

I'd go with you best players and in this case I believe they are Fitz and Johnson. Ride the wave!

Between Crayton and Johnson I would start Johnson, he has been playing alot better then Crayton. However I do like Bess (who is in the title of the post) better then Johnson, he almost seems like Wes Welker Jr and that can be pretty good going forward. So if that is an options go with Bess, if not Johnson and hope he continues his hot play.

I like Bess. I still don't trust Johnson yet. Bess has been solid the past three weeks and is always a safety valve for Henne.
