Torain + Lofton for Forte + Britt? WHIR

Postby munstermann » Wed Oct 27, 2010 11:24 am

Just got Offered Forte and Britt for my Ryan Torain and Curtis Lofton (LB). For those of you who arent aware, Lofton is one of the top performing LB in the game, wracking up a ton of tackles. I'd have to get his replacement off WW. He avg's around 13 points a game while his possible replacement averages around 9. Do you think I should do this trade. Who is better... Braylon Edwards or Kenny Britt, because they are both potentials for the trade... It's Forte + Choose one of those 2. And How good is Britt actually, sure he had 1 amazing game and touchdowns in the last 5, but he's avging like 3 catches a game which isnt amazing. And Vince Young is coming back. Let me know your opinions! And leave a link! thanks

I do it man Torain is going to timeshare when clinton returns and Forte is always gonna have the job. I would prob take Braylon over Britt but its close and he was huge last wk. So I got for it man. Plent of LB's that get lots of tackles

IN my league we dont play with Def player, so don't have any advice on that. However, I would given what you said about Torain, deal for Forte and Britt. Britt I believe has the confidence of both Kollins and Young, and the upside is thre.

Good Luck

I agree with the rest and take this trade. Forte has had his ups and downs and gets next to no rushing yards, but he is still the leading receiver on the team (I believe) and I can't imagine him not getting more carries after the bye week. Torrain is a guy I have been trying to pawn off because I fear that Portis is going to take some carries away from him, even though I expect him to stay the starter. So thats a win on RBs IMO. Then Britt over Lofton. Not sure who you have at WR now, but if he is offering the trade you could probably use the upgrade here as well. Lofton gets his tackles, but there are always guys on the WW to pick up and stream.

I'd take the trade too. Torain is at LEAST in a time share with Portis. So, I think you have to look at this as Lofton for Forte + WR...which makes it easy. Britt vs Lofton. They're both running teams. For the Jets, you've got Holmes back, Edwards, and Keller. For Tennessee, you've got...Britt, maybe Washington. So, I think you'll get more consistency with Britt.
