Benson/Cutler/Moeaki/S.Rice for R.Rice/Vick

Postby bellringer21 » Wed Oct 27, 2010 4:47 pm

He already has Big Ben as his starting QB and just posted Vick on the trading block. (I have Peyton as a starter so I could take out the QBs if needed) His starting TE is Gresham so Moeaki would be an upgrade (I could upgrade Moeaki to O.Daniels if he asks). He is starting McCluster/Lynch at RB this week since his top 2 RB's are on bye-R.Rice and Forte. S.Rice should be coming back soon and his starting WR is Jennings/Ochocinco/Roy Williams-he could use the upgrade. What is the thought on this deal? I think it helps him longterm at TE/WR and he gets a rotation of Benson/Lynch/Forte at RB so he doesnt give away a week. He is already 3-4 (tied for 6th place in 12 team league, but behind in tiebreaker by 100 points) and needs to win this week more than me (5-2-tied for 2nd but behind by 55 points for 2nd place and bye). Thoughts? (thanks in advace for your opinion)

I wouldn't take that deal if I were him, but if you can get it, go for it.

It's simple:

Rice is better than Benson.
Vick is better option than Cutler.

Moeaki and Rice are throw-ins, any way you look at it.

Go get 'er done!

I can agree with you that R.Rice is slighty better than Benson and Vick is much better than Cutler.....if he asked Vick/Cutler to be taken out I would still do it. Moeaki is key-Gresham is the 4th option on that offense behind Benson/Ochocinco/T.Owens. Nice upgrade at TE and S.Rice is close to returning-he was catching passes today at practice so with his roster this deal should improve both teams.

Thanks for your opinion!

He countered with Cutler/Benson/Mike Wallace/Owen Daniels for Vick/Rice/McCluster/J.Jones. My theory is this:

Vick>Cutler
Rice>Benson
roster spot=Daniels. I just picked him up yesterday lol.
J.Jones (roster spot)<<< M.Wallace.

Any thoughts? I feel I should do it since I still have R.White/D.Jackson/M.Williams (SEA)/S.Rice at WR for 3 WR spots. Is R.Rice that big of an upgrade over Benson?
