Stafford, Kinta or Henne?

Postby JRM4833 » Thu Oct 28, 2010 8:33 am

Unfortunately, Cutler is my starter so regardless of the bye week, I really need a QB. I'm leaning Stafford but Kitna is in a nice offense. But will he throw enough to be a starting FF QB? Thanks and WHIR.
When in doubt, punt!

Ive got Flacco on a bye this week so im starting Stafford. But I could see Kitna have a good game with that offense I just feel like its more a risk with not having seen him play a game in a few years.

Help with either of mine?

You mentioned Henne in the title. If he's available, I'd take him over Stafford or Kitna. Miami has been airing the ball out every game. You also might want to look at Ryan Fitzpatrick. He has outscored almost every QB in football over the past 4 weeks.

I like Stafford the best out of the bunch. A healthy Stafford has QB1 upside with Calvin and Jahvid roaming around.

Kitna is a decent option because even though Dallas might be running more, Kitna still has good options to throw the ball to.
Henne is not a bad option, but Miami is a run-first, ball-control offense and only goes with the passing game when forced to do so.

Zechs, over the last 4 weeks Henne has averaged 39 pass attempts a game. That's not a run-first team any more.

If you are looking to replace Cutler and not just a one week match up guy, then I think Henne is better bet. Has a couple great receivers and they are passing the ball enough to score points for you. Stafford may be a good switch later, but give him a week or two. He's been out a long time.
