Trade Bradshaw for Charles? WHIR

Postby jarobert » Thu Oct 28, 2010 2:46 pm

10 Team Non PPR League.

Currently 3-3-1 in 5th place. Need a win.

My two best RB, Turner and Bradshaw, have a Bye so I'm stuck starting Wells and one of M. Bush, Ivory, or Donald Brown. Not good at all.

I have a trade offer where I give:

Ahmad Bradshaw, Miles Austin and Santonio Holmes

Jamaal Charles, Percy Harvin and Dez Bryant

Do it?

Can you elaborate?

Would you do Bradshaw for Charles straight up in this situation. Charles has had his bye and clearly equally as explosive. Is it the receivers?

I would certainty consider doing the trade, but i can see where people would object.

Its tough because we dont know how the QB situations will affect Miles Austin and Percy Harvin so its hard to get a good idea of their value.

I would like to think that Austin would be able to maintain his value with Kitna, and if he does then the trade is not in your favor.

I would do charles for bradshaw strait up, both have TD vultures to worry about, but I think charles is the more explosive talent. plus would help you allot this week.

Yo man,

you're right, you need to win now. But i wouldnt do this deal if you're giving up Austin in the deal. No way. Charles is very consistent and his potential for a big play is huge. Bradhsaw is consistent as well, but the Goal line duties are still not his. Both prety comparable players but with Bradshaw in a bye week, that makes for a tough choice for you.

charles vs Buff this week and then a decent schedule afterwards. I actually like Charles as much as Bradshaw from here on out, and love this deal for you straight up.

Throw in Santonio if you must, but you need solid WR's to carry you into the promise land.

Good luck and please h elp w/ mine:

I don't do this deal with the WRs in. I'd still rather have Miles Austin than both of the receivers he is giving you, and while Santonio Holmes is just a throw in here, I still don't like giving up Austin. I would however, do the deal straight up for Charles just because he already had his bye and the Kansas City schedule from here out is pretty weak. I like that deal for you.
