WR/DST Help for Week 8- WHIR

Postby twakeman » Thu Oct 28, 2010 11:41 pm

Hey guys, just a few lineup issues for my team this week and was looking for input from others.

Which WR would you play?

Brandon Lloyd vs. SF or Mike Williams (Seattle) vs. Oakland?

Also, who is a better defense to play this week?

Denver vs. SF or Tampa Bay vs. Arizona

I have the Broncos, who just gave up 59 to the Raiders, or I could get Tampa off my waiver wire who is playing against a terrible Arizona team (I am starting Beanie Wells). I vowed to drop Denver after the debacle last week, but they get SF who is starting Troy Smith at QB. I do wonder how the flight to London will affect these teams? Thoughts?

I'll be happy to help with yours, just leave a link.

Definitely go with Lloyd. He is a top ten WR in fantasy. He's got a decent matchup against an up and down SF team. Mike Williams is gonna be covered by a pro bowl corner back (namdi or however you spell his name). As for DST, both are good options. Denver seems like a good choice because the 49ers are starting Troy Smith who hasn't started a game in like 2 years, but they looked terrible against Oakland. I would go with Tampa's D. Max Hall has looked terrible thus far, he completed only 4 of 16 passes last week before he got the head injury. Go with Lloyd and Tampa DST.

Yup. Tampa has been a middle of the pack DST, but Arizona has been cake for opposing defenses. Eat it up.
