Is Santonio worth keeping in a PPR league? WHIR

Postby phackney » Fri Oct 29, 2010 12:47 am

Here's the deal, I want to pick up either D. Bess or Blount. I'm in a 10 team PPR/PPC league. I'm stacked at RB and WR. I'm leaning towards dropping Holmes for one of those guys, but I know his potential, just not sure he has the chemistry with Sanchez that he did with Ben. Bess has scored 21.1, 16.7, 29.9, and 19.7 points in the last 4 weeks and could be used as a good flex option this week against Cincy. I'm also thinking of dropping Bush, but even with McFaddens big day last week, he still scored 17 pts. My lineup is below if you see a better option to drop. BTW, I have Moore because I lost Romo last week and he was the only option off the WW. Leave a link and I'll help, thanks.

QB: Freeman(Moore)
RB: Mendehall(Hillis, Forte, P.Thomas, M. Bush)
WR: A. Johnson(Bowe, Holmes)
TE: Maeoki
Flex: Torain
Flex: McFadden
Flex: Britt
K: Folk
DEF: PIT
IDP: C. Greenway

Hmmm...your depth at RB is nice, and though i like Blounts upside i might stand pat. Bush has value for you as DMacs cuff, and is a very capable back. Holmes for Bess might be a nice short term fix as Bess is becoming a nice PPR option. Holmes still has a higher ceiling though. Depends on what you are looking for...yout top 3 WR's are nice...so it depends on whether you want a playable PPR option as a safety valve..(then go Bess) or a guy that has the potential to be a top 15 WR (then go Holmes)

Thanks for the help on mine! Good luck!
