Trade Offer Help (WHIR)

Postby Predator13 » Fri Oct 29, 2010 10:55 am

I've been offered a trade. I'm in a 12-team league (standard format). A guy in my league lost Romo and Clark and is looking for replacements. There are 3 different scenarios on the table and need to figure out which is the best one for me. I'm currently 5-2.

My Current Team

QB: Brees, Flacco, Fitzpatrick
RB: Charles, Moreno, R. Brown, Lynch, Greene
WR: Wayne, Hicks, M Williams (TB) and Gaffney
TE: Z Miller, A. Hernandez

Proposal 1 -
I give him Flacco, A Hernandez and R. Brown
I get Bradshaw and Pedigrew

Proposal 2 -
I give him Flacco, A Hernandez, R. Brown, Moreno and Lynch
I get MJD, Best, and Pedigrew

Proposal 3 -
I give him Flacco, A Hernandez, R. Brown and Lynch
I get MJD, Brandon Jackson (RB), and Pedigrew

I'm struggling with which one to take. I definitely want to make a deal because I am fine at QB with Brees and Fitzpatrick for my bye week. I also have Miller at TE and haven't been using Hernandez who is decent. I want to upgrade at RB. While I have decent RBs, I don't have any studs. Bradshaw is a good option, but he is losing TDs to Jacobs. I prefer MJD since he has a pretty favorable schedule coming up and really good match-ups during my playoffs (14-16). Bradshaw does not. I don't like proposal 2 because I'm giving up a lot of RBs. Although, Moreno for Best may be an even swap with the edge to Best when both healthy.

Also, I have left Greene out of the equation and want to hold onto him because the Jets may rely on him more down the stretch to rest LT. Should I swap out Brown for Greene in these scenarios or hold onto Greene? Brown does have more favorable match-ups coming up and during the playoffs though.

So is it Proposal 1, 2 3 or other some variation?

I would try Option 2 but ask for Bradshaw instead of Best.....
