POLL: Post-bye week move(s)

Postby taw856 » Sat Oct 30, 2010 1:34 am

MY TEAM
QB: M. Vick, (J. Cutler), (M. Stafford)
RB: A. Foster, M. Turner, (R. Rice), (C. Spiller)
WR: Ca. Johnson, B. Marshall, H. Ward, (C. Ochocinco)
TE: T. Moeaki
K: R. Succop
DST: Chiefs

In a CBS standard scoring league (12-team, no-PPR, DST points include yards allowed), I'm currently carrying three QBs because two of them have a Wk. 8 bye. That said, the first place team in my league just lost T. Romo and is now starting C. Henne with S. Bradford as a backup. In my shoes, once it's Wk. 9, would you:

A: Drop Stafford for H. Miller/B.Celek (best TEs available)
B: Drop Stafford for a second defense
C: Drop Spiller for a TE or DST (and risk RB depth issues if injuries happen)
D: Stand pat with my current roster

I think your best move is to drop Moeaki and add Heath Miller. I think defenses will now focus on stopping Moeaki first since he is usually Cassel's first read on passing plays/check downs. Heath's stock is up esp. as a red-zone target with Big Ben at QB.

Otherwise, stand pat.
