Flex and Def help. WHIR

Postby Sucka Scott » Sun Oct 31, 2010 8:53 am

PPR, 15yds/pt, td=6

I have to fill my flex position with either Deion Branch vs MIN or Braylon Edwards vs GB. Both have the potential to be good today, so I keep going back and forth, but I think I'm leaning towards Edwards...

Also I'm trying to choose between NYJ def vs GB or SEA def vs OAK. GB can put up a lot of points, but I have Rodgers at QB, so any turnover by him would be pts for the NYJ def....On the other hand SEA has been a really good fantasy defense, and OAK can make a lot of mistakes.

Please help! Any help will be returned. Thanks!
QB - A. Rodgers, M. Flynn
WR - B. Lloyd, M. Wallace, L. Moore, D. Moore, James Jones, G. Little
RB - A. Peterson, B. Jacobs, B. Tate, T. Gerhart
TE - R. Gronkowski
K - D. Bailey
DEF - BAL

Like Branch with beat up secondary of the Vikings and I would take a shot with Oakland vs Hasselback.

Thanks with your help with mine! I would go with Branch and Seattle "D" I think your receivers are a coin flip so I see Branch as the better matchup. Seattle D has played well this year and I hate playing a D when one of my players is against them, especially my QB. If Rodgers does go off your D would be in bad shape. This is not the same Jets D as last year and teams have thrown on them with success. Good Luck!

I'd go with the Jets Defense. They have potential to score a lot vs. GB especially since you save any interception points with defense points.

I would also go with Branch as the Jets have so many receiving weapons Edwards numbers will go down. Holmes, Keller, Cotchery, and Tomlinson all get looks from Sanchez when he is throwing, but they rely more on the run anyway. If Edwards breaks free, he can score, but that is always an if, and if he can hold on to the ball and not drop it. I am a Jets fan, and I traded Edwards away two weeks ago. I don't think he is going to be as successful in terms of fantasy points as he was in the beginning of the year, and that still wasn't the stud numbers he put up in Cleveland.

And thanks for helping with mine.

You have to go with the Jets D. GB throws the ball alot, it gives you a better chance at getting points. Oak will keep the ball on the ground as much as possible. And start Branch. He is in a better passing effort!!

Go with Branch and definetly with SEA that's your better option.

Thanks for your help with mine -- I honestly think Edwards will get his yards against the GB secondary.

I think Oakland wins the game today, so I'd go with the Jets DEF against GB. Good luck! ;-D
