Drop Britt? WHIR 100%

Postby tmacuf » Mon Nov 01, 2010 1:28 pm

Team is in Sig. I have Lloyd and Cooley on bye next week. I'm doing pretty well after trading for AP and MJD and DMC getting healthy. I might be able to get by without a TE this week. What do you think? Drop Britt for a TE? Drop Williams for James Jones, Bess, Branch, Woodhead or Meachem?

Bad week for byes, cus Michael Bush just got dropped, nice to have for a handcuff, and V. Jackson is still available. I just have a feeling S. Rice is going to do well and I just traded Harvin.

Shiancoe, Pettigrew, Moeaki, Celek, Shockey, Watson, Heap, Watson, Winslow, Fasano. I don't have a good waiver so most people could beat me out, but these TE's are pretty much average. i think its worth keeping Cooley don't you think.

Do I drop Britt for Tamme or Shiancoe after MNF and Moss getting waived? I'm getting mixed reports on Britt some sound like 2-5 weeks and some sound like out for season.

I do like Bess like the other guys said, and Britt for Tamme is a good move, Manning was looking his way a lot and he was the only TE really making plays on the ball.

Britt isn't 100% out yet and he may be back for a playoff run but keep an eye. If he does get sidelined, then I would drop him obviously. As for Bess, I'd definitely pick him up especially if you get 1 PPR.

Pick up Tamme as your TE if he's still available for sure, he's going to get stats near on par with Clark's. Also, I don't think it's worth hanging on to Britt for 2-5 weeks, you could probably get away with even picking him back up after this week if his injury is as bad as it seems (tho I don't feel it's worth it). Britt for Tamme for sure.

Man, I'd go Tamme in a heartbeat. Peyton had no trouble using Tamme in teh same role as Dallas Clark. Getting a tight end like that off waivers is golden at this point, and Britt even if he does come back this season, is much more efficient when a pure passer like Kerry Collins is under center, and not a QB who likes to run around like Vince Young. If it was a dynasty, I'd hold onto Britt regardless, but that isn't the case.
