Help at RB *whir*

Postby TheWarlock187 » Tue Nov 02, 2010 7:41 pm

Current RBs: M Jones-Drew, D McFadden, D Brown, M Barber, M Bush, J Harrison

My problem is that MJD and McFadden are off back to back weeks, also there is not much out there in the way of free agents since it is a dynasty league. Lets start with week 9 (Jacksonville off) here are my options:
D Brown vs Phi (is he gonna play?)
M Barber vs GB (has not done anything all year)
M Bush vs KC (I am starting McFadden, two RBs from the same team?)
Free agents (week 10 matchups included since Oak is off)
D Woodhead vs Cle / Pit
J Snelling vs TB / Balt
L Stephens-Howling vs Min / Sea

Those are pretty much all my options out there, any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Leave a link I will gladly help you on your topic.

wow, slim pickings. Of those I guess I'd take a chance on Woodhead. He seems to be more and more a part of the offense and might be a good bye week filler

thanks for the help with mine

danny woodhead has put up double didget scores every week he's started but one, no reason for that to stop against cleveland, and he really is your only option...i don't like any of your other options at all. thanks for the help with mine.

I agree, I like Woodhead here. I'm not sure you'll see a lot of yardage out of him against those defenses, but the Pats like him and they've shown a willingness to use him in close along with Grodkowski. I was looking at Woodhead myself in two leagues and backed off only because I don't need him (my weaknesses lie elsewhere).

He's good for 6-8 pts a week given how much Bellichica seems to like him.

agreed on Woodhead. i think he'll continue his 3rd down roll, getting yards on the ground and in the air. who knows, maybe another TD?

Week 9 - McFadden and maybe gamble Woodhead but on the other hand you could gamble M. Bush who has been getting good looks - and capitalizing beating McFadden last week in a 10 team standard league. No to Barber, and no to Brown. Colts have lead to the fact that Hart will be thier starting back, plus play the healthy guy right? Not to mention Hart out performed Brown last week with simular amount of touches.

Week 10 - MJD and is Keiland Williams(WAS RB) he is on bye this week, but with Torains hamstring he COULD be the Redskins running back (keep an eye on that).

Is Blount no longer available in your league? That would be a slick grab. Shown that he can perform.

Good Luck!

Keep tabs on Donald Brown. Mike Hart looks like he'll be out this week with an injury (check his status, he got an MRI today I believe), and check Donald Brown's status. If Brown gets the green light and Hart and Addai are out, then get Brown. RB's can rack up yards in the Indi offense because most teams play a nickle defense against the Colts. If Brown doesn't seem to be ready for this upcoming game, go with Woodhead.
