This is a high $ 8 team league. I am 7-1 and looking to continue dominating with my stacked team. I want P. Manning from a 2-6 team that needs help. I have offers of Orton + Best, Orton + Wells, and Orton + Mathews + Blount, that he keeps laughing at. What should I offer, should I offer more? I also feel he is mad because our B. Jackson + Hines Ward for Roddy White ( Week 2 trade) has worked out very well forme and not so much for him. First off, I can see why he'd be hesitant to make another trade....Giving up Roddy for that garabge was just silly.
In order to get Peyton, you're gonna have to give up a Top Tier RB with just Orton, which Best/Wells/Matthews clearly aren't. But if you threw Lloyd into the mix, maybe you can still hold on to your top RB's.
So it'd be:
Orton/Best or Wells/Lloyd
for
Peyton/M Williams (just so he doesn't have to drop 2 guys)
I think that might get the deal done.
Can you look at mine?

I think you are going to have to offer Lloyd and Orton in this one...
Clearly he doesnt want to give him up from the last deal. Lloyd may sweeten it just enough!
Please help with mine!

so what do you want people to tell you? You're trying to get arguably THE best QB in the league without giving up a stud to someone you already low-balled once. You're in an 8 team league - people like beanie wells, blount and matthews are flex/bye fills at best - id even say matthews is waiver wire garbage. you cant just package a bunch of flex bench warmers and expect to get a stud. being stingy doesn't get you anyway, but fortunately for you your team is already pretty good.

For some reason Austin Collie was on the Waiver wire, so how would Orton/Collie and either Mathwees or Blount sound in exchange for Manning/S. Smith

Offer him Orton + Best/Beanie + Lloyd. I don't expect Lloyd—or Orton, for that matter—to keep up his insane production, and you're set at receiver.
Help?

There is no reason for him to accept any of the offers you threw out...honestly, you well be needing to part with one of the guys you don't want to part with...unless he is super naive a stud for a handful of couple of marginal flex players (in an 8 team league) wont get the job done.
perhaps you have better news for me?
