What to do with Jonathan Stewart?

Postby default01 » Wed Nov 03, 2010 12:24 pm

Due to injury, bye weeks, and stupid press conference, I've got to start Jonathan Stewart (vs NO) this week.

His performance last week didn't exactly inspire confidence though. Do I pick up any free agents?
Anthony Gonzalez (@Phi)
Jacoby Jones (vs SD)
James Jones (vs Dal)
Darrius Heyward-Bey (vs KC)
Nate Washington (bye)

I was hoping to hold onto both the KC and Seattle defenses so I could play matchups the rest of the way but could drop one or I could drop Stewart. If I pick up Washington, I'd need to drop a defense.

I'm 7-1 and should be in great shape for the rest of the season after this week.

12 team league - QB,2RB,2WR,2W/R,TE,D/ST,K
standard + 25yd/pt return yds, 6 pt return td

QB: P. Manning
WR: M. Wallace
WR: M. Williams (TB)
RB: A. Foster
RB: J. Charles
W/R: M. Forte
W/R: J. Stewart
TE: A. Hernandez
D/ST: Kansas City
K: K. Brown

BN: S. Jackson (bye)
BN: R. Torain (bye)
BN: K. Williams (bye)
BN: R. Moss (no team)
BN: M. Floyd (injury)
BN: Seattle D/ST

Right now, I'm leaning toward dropping Seattle D/ST for Jacoby Jones. We include return yards at 25 yd/pt and he's just been named full time kick-off returner in addition to punts. Plus he's playing San Diego this week and should be a safer start than Stewart. Seattle is actually the #3 D/ST in my league right now but I like KC's upcoming schedule better.
