HELP! Steve SMith (CAR) or Santonio Holmes

I have Santonio on my bench and he's been terrible so far. Steve Smith from the Panthers has just been dropped and is avail for me to pick up. Do I drop Santonio and pick him up? Who has the bigger upside? Quick answers please, I need to get in there first!!
