His LG Blount and Edwards for my Marshall

Postby Therobsclub » Wed Nov 03, 2010 3:27 pm

QB: Brees, Vick
RB: Mendenhall, Moreno, F Jackson, Jacobs, Spiller, K Smith
WR: A Johnson, R Wayne, B Marshall, L Evans, M Williams(Sea) - Breaston is on waivers right now.
TE: Witten
K: Carpenter
D: Saints

Is this a good deal for me? I'm a lil worried that Marshall won't be doing much although rumor has it Miami could get Moss...if that's the case then I think Marshall would do much more. I obviously need the RB help although Kevin Smith could be getting the bulk of the carries know that Best can't handle the load...
Adrian Peterson....The NEXT Walter Peyton!

I think it depends on if you're on the blount train, and if you trust chad henne. I personally think blount is going to be good in the second half (picked him up in 2 leagues), while I don;t see miami's redzone woes getting better any time soon. In one of my leagues the point differential between edwards and marshall is really small (63.90 - 67.10 in favor of marshall, although edwards has been a little more consistent). Long story short, I think the deal is in your favor.

this trade is awful. Blount is a flex player, and edwards is definitely not someone I'd be starting over the WR you have. you're downgrading heavily at WR and getting a bench fill-in at RB. Blount's looked great the last two games, vbut that was against STL and Arizona... def keep that in mind, and hang on to marshall. You have a very solid team as it is.
