Just out of curiosity, pretend the draft was today, how would you rank the top 10 or 12 players going forward? Knowing what you know now from the first half of the season, but with the 2nd half in mind, in what order would you draft the top players?

I don't have time to get too deep into this topic at the moment, but I think the most interesting thing is that the top 2 would be the same. This is a rarity indeed.
Chris Johnson and Adrian Peterson have absolutely distinguished themselves over the rest of the pack, though AP closed the gap between the two of them. The risk averse might shy away from Darren McFadden, but he is an absolute beast when healthy so he could be a first round pick today if we're just talking the rest of this season. Calvin Johnson has clearly played his way into first round status as well, looking especially good with Stafford back.
And Peyton Manning makes for a rock solid first round guy, getting it done with whomever the Colts trot out there at WR/TE.
Edit: How could I forget Arian Foster? I guess that's what I get for trying to churn something out off the top of my head. Even so, he'd be my number 3 guy. I love him, but I'd still take Adrian.

That represents some serious belief in Orton/Lloyd. Personally I couldn't see taking Rivers in round 1 either, but the rest looks about right, though in a different order than I'd say.
I wouldn't be touching Lloyd or Orton before round 4.

i think this is pretty close to what i'd say, but i'd change a few. i think turner, mccoy and megatron have to be included....and i think foster should be ahead of chris johnson.

if gates was healthy, i would put him in the top 10, he's a top 5 wr in the te slot.

Well Lloyd is the number 1 WR through the 1st 8 games and Orton may be ranked a little high. I wouldn't take him there I just wanted to give a little variety.

Yeah, I have Lloyd on a team and I honestly can't begin to explain to you where this came from. I think he'll continue to be good this year, but I'll let him be someone else's early round draft pick (problem) next year.
1. AP 2. CJ 3. Arian Foster 4. Frank Gore 5. Darren McFadden 6. Rashard Mendenhall 7. Jamaal Charles 8. LeShon Mccoy 9. Michael Turner 10. Roddy White
Peyton Manning is outscoring brother Eli Manning by 3 pts/game. Shows you the value of QB's. I would rather have Eli in the 7th than Peyton in the 1st.

i liek this. after the last two years of playing around and taking Wrs and QBs early....im missing my stud Rbs. so next year its back to Rb-RB.
my group calls it the southcoast offense, Rbs early and often. why did i ever leave you southcoast?
