Deep Deep RB sleepers??? WHIR

Postby P1Army » Thu Nov 04, 2010 5:52 pm

I have not been able to get a trade put together and I don't have anyone to plug in for my RB2 this week because Reggie Bush didn't make it back to the starting lineup in time. Therefore I am left posing a question to all of y'all about who I should pick up form free agency as a plug and play option for this week....Don't scoff I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel in a very competitive league. So here goes any and all insight wisdom and or coin flip suggestions welcome and of course I'll help out with your questions.

C.J. Spiller VS CHI
L. Stephens-Howling @ MIN
L. Betts @ CAR

Javarris james @ PHI

Any other totally off the radar guys you can think of playing this week. Here is a rundown of my injury decimated roster for shizz and gigs. Maychance you have trade suggestions or any advice to keep me from falling below .500 again?

Starting lineup

Phillip Rivers
L.T.
TBD
Pierre Garcon
Desean Jackson
Antonio Gates? (if not Gates I’ll roll with Big Mike Williams)
Dan Carpenter
Saints

Bench

Matthew Stafford
Ryan Torain
Reggie Bush
Malcom Floyd
Donald Driver
Jason Avant (Will drop for whichever RB I pick up)
Big Mike Williams for now and
Adam Vinateri

Assuming you don't get KR yards (if you do then LaRod is your guy). I can't make a recommendation for any of those guys. Sorry.

If Mike Hart and Addai don't go, i'd say Javarris James. I don't see Donald Brown getting all the burn.

back up is CJ Spiller. Fitzpatrick has gotten the offense going, and CJ Spiller has to much talent to stay quiet all season long.

Spiller is going to start getting involved now that they have a decent QB, might be worth a spot all season
Good Luck

another spiller vote. Fred Jax is always an injury risk...

Pretty slim pickins there man. I'd prob roll the dice on Spiller. Mainly because he's the most talented of the guys you've mentioned so he has the best chance at breaking a run for ya. All those guys will be 10 touches or less. So the guy that can make something would be Spiller. Just hope for one 30-40 yard rip to the end zone. Good luck this weekend!

I don't know if he's available but he should be - go with Chester Taylor. He's playing the Bills -officially the worst run D of the last 50 years - and was recently announced as the Bears goal line back. He should do better than any of the guys you listed and I would not be surprised if he put up 6-10 points.

Otherwise I'd go with Spiller.

Thoughts on this?:
