Trying to build team for 2nd half and future, WHIR!

Postby HunglikeChampions » Fri Nov 05, 2010 6:54 am

Ok, so I am 1 injury away from falling out of championship contention, and probably 1-2 people away from having a real chance, so trying to set myself up while I have "some" pieces to trade. This is a 14 team PPR 4 keeper (1 must be a rookie) league. My roster is below, and I am thinking about working with the following trades.

My team

QB-Flacco, Tavaris Jackson (dropped Henne for someone after Flaccos bye week)
RB-Stephen Jackson, Jahvid Best, Forsett, Bernard Scott, Tasard Choice, Gerheart, Keiland Williams James Starks (IR)
RB/WR-Lance Moore
WR-Wayne, Megetron
TE-Winslow
Def-titans, Chiefs

I am thinking trying to offer Wayne and maybe lance moore for Boldin and Peyton Hillis to help bump up my RB corps some. The team I would be t rading with here has liek 5 decent RB's so I think he might be interested in having another stud at WR while he has someone else to replace Hillis.

I was also thinking about offering Stephen Jackson, Jahvid Best, and someone for Ray Rice, Dez Bryan, and Felix Jones. Bryant would replace Best as my rookie keeper. What does everyone think of these two trades? If they happened to go through, my team would look like

QB-Flacco, Jackson
RB-Rice, Hillis
RB/WR=Bryant or Felix Jones
WR-Boldin, Megatron
TE-Winslow
Def-Titans

Bench-Bernard Scott, Forsett, Choice, Keiland WIlliams, and random scrubs I am always churning looking for soemthing lucky to happen. Thanks for any help!!

I would try and do Best/Wayne for Boldin/Hillis

I am big on Jackson personally and would rather keep him.

Ok, so the jackson, best for rice, bryant, felix jones got turned down, so I would need to work on the team with Hillis and Boldin. I cant include Best without getting a rookie back because he is my rookie keeper atm. What would you guys think of Wayne, Moore, and Best for Boldin, Hillis, and Blount? The guy with Boldin loves Best, so maybe that would work out. I am just leery of blount long term.

More opinions would be good!

I like your lineup. I rather have Best as a Rookie keeper, he is gonna be a beast. I am not high on Ray Rice. He has not done anything. He didnt do anything last year or this year. They keep saying he has this potential. I think ppl are just in love with him. If you could get him cheap then it would be worth it. I would do the Wayne, Moore for Boldin and Hillis. Keep Best over Blount.
