Short term, Long term

Postby fantasyrulz » Fri Nov 05, 2010 12:15 pm

Greetings...

So I have a question about my receivers. Non-PPR.

I currently own Sidney Rice, who may not be active for a few weeks.

But projections I've seen theorize that Minnesota has already been eliminated from a Superbowl bid this year.

However, Green Bay has not.

And with Donald Driver out for now, I am wondering whether I should drop Rice and pick up James Jones or Jordy Nelson.

I know Rice has great short term value, but I don't know if I can count on him throughout week 16.

Any input about whether I'm crazy to even think about dropping rice is welcome.

And also what I can expect from Rice down the road with or without Favre.

DEF: Green Bay Packers (and whoever else has a good match up)

Is this a 2 QB start league? If not, I'd drop Eli

it is a 1QB start league.

QB:
WR1, WR2, WR3
RB1, RB2
TE
K
DEF
rest bench

I've been keeping Eli around because he has a good game every now and then, and usually when I happen to need the points... lol.

I'm not saying he'll have value forever, since I don't know how well he'll do against Philadelphia. And I'm assuming the Giants will probably lose to Green Bay.

But stranger things have happened...

And we have some interesting quarterback situations in our league, because of the loss of Tony Romo, and two managers not having a stable QB2.

Dont know if I dropped Eli if they would turn around and use him against me.

But I'll definitely consider the advice.
