D. Williams and P. Thomas? WHIR

Postby JRM4833 » Fri Nov 05, 2010 5:10 pm

Two quick questions involving my two separate money leagues:

#1: Is D'Angelo Williams worth a #2 WW priority? I lean toward no only because I already have MJD, Foster, Charles, Bradshaw and now Blount. I'd probably have a tough time juggling my roster anyways since I have Baltimore and Cooley on bye this week. Not much trading in this league unfortunately.

#2: Is Pierre Thomas worth a pickup at all (already cleared waivers). In this league I have some RB issues since I only have AP, Moreno, Addai, M. Bush and S. Greene. Obviously after AP, not much is a sure thing in that list. I'd have to drop one of those RBs or Crayton. I generally don't like starting 4 WRs (including flex), but I haven't had a choice lately since I have Austin, Fitzgerald, Bowe and D. Williams (TB). After Sunday I could arguably pick him up and drop Baltimore (who is filling in for Tennessee for me this week), but players are all put on waivers in this league following the week's games.

Thanks and leave a link and I'll help in return.
When in doubt, punt!

1. No I don't think he's worth it. I'm hanging on to him in both of my money leagues. But in one league my team is terrible and I can't drop him in case he turns it around. In my other league there aren't any better RBs on the waiver wire and I'd hate to see him actually do something when he's not on my team. Although in that 2nd league I doubt I play him the rest of the year. I have Foster, Rice, Torain ahead of him and I've been playing Mike Williams(TB) over him in my flex spot.

2. Eh I don't think he's worth a roster spot at this point. He hasn't played in a while and they've got to be thinking of putting him on the IR at this point. Even when he does return not only does he have to compete with Ivory, but Bush will be back. I'd still rather have all your other RBs.

They are on the WW for a reason. Both suck this season and both are hurt. If you have to take anyone then get P. Thomas.
