Too Many RB's, need help...

Postby T Long » Fri Nov 05, 2010 8:06 pm

10 team keeper league (5 keepers per year) 1/2 ppr.

So I've ended up with a little too many RB's and am having trouble making a move. Any suggestions on what I should try and get or who to package together??

qb. Eli
wr's. Nicks, S. Moss, Mike Williams (tb)
rb's. Rice, Foster
te. Keller
flex. Blount
bench: DeAngelo Williams, VJax, Felix Jones, Pierre Thomas, Matt Ryan, Johnny Knox

one trade I was thinking about offering was

Matt Ryan and Blount for Big Ben...........does that look good?
any suggestions?

You don't need Ben, Eli is the better QB and Ryan is fine as a back up. Felix jones has virtually no value and Pierre Thomas might be out well past the buy and williams is injured on a team that doesn't know it's a double ess from a hole in the ground. These backs don't give you any real depth and virtually no buying power. If you really want to make a move try to turn P. Thomas and Felix Jones into a serviceable WR2 or 3 and then back up your starting RBs

I don't really think you have too many RB's. I'd just sit tite. Maybe move Felix after he has a big game.

Agreed... not sure why you want Ben? I like Eli and Ryan is turning into a stud. As the previous post said... sell high on one of your RB's and package to upgrade. Find the right team that needs depth and willing to part with a player that can upgrade one of your starters.

I think you have too many back-ups at RB, but you're good on that. In fact, people are looking for a miracle at RB right now, so I would use Blount or Felix (or both actually) for a #2 WR in your league, like a Maclin/Marshall/FitZ, someone in that non-top 5 status..

not thinking of bye weeks;
QB Eli
RB Foster
RB Rice
flex (M. Williams)
WR Nicks
WR (Maclin*)
TE Keller
Bench guys

That looks pretty good!

I would hang on to Blout as he looks like your best flex option at flex right now.

I would try to trade P Thomas NOW for a WR2 or maybe even WR1. The guy is always injured, is a beneficiary of being on the Saints and they just tried to trade him.

He is injured this year and possibly out for the rest of the season (he was injured last year too) and I don't think he will ever be that good. However since you are in a dynasty league you could probably parle him in to a solid WR. I'd start with someone like Boldin (P Thoms IS a RB) or J Maclin and then if not go with Colston or S Moss.

Help with mine?
