Brees for Matthews? WHIR

Postby Kegglers » Sat Nov 06, 2010 3:35 pm

This is probably a no brainer. But I'll post it anyway. I've just been offered Drew Brees for my Ryan Matthews. I am in desperate need for a QB as I currently have McNabb, Kolb, & Kitna rotating.

This is a 12 team h2h Sportsline keeper league. Here is my roster

QB Kitna, McNabb(b), Kolb(b)
RB McFadden, Sjax, Forte(b), Matthews(b), Green-Ellis(b), McGahee(b)
WR Fitz, Wallace, Bowe, Crabtree(b)
TE H. Miller, Cooley(b), Winslow(b)
K M. Bryant
D/ST Raiders

I drafted Matthews to be my keeper next year. But with the way McFadden has shown up this year, he may be my guy. Regardless, it's always 'win now' right?

Should I be hitting accept instead of posting here?

Yes - Make the trade! Between your other backs, you can make up any points you'll lose from Matthews and when you factor in a top 5 QB, you'll be in positive points for sure.

Thanks for helping me with mine.

definition of no-brainer
10 rushing yards - 1 pt
10 receiving yards - 1 pt
20 passing yards - 1 pt
All TDs - 6 pts (QBs favored)
