I picked up Shiancoe, and think he might do well w/Moss gone, and especially with Harvin out/injured.
Harvin has a sprained ankle and a grudge w/Chilly. Our league scores return yardage (1/10yds), so I really value Harvin above just what he does as a WR, but what if he doesn't return kicks because of his injury?
Collie looks good to do, but no official word.
1. Do I play Shiancoe, even if Gates rolls himself on a stretcher to the line of scrimmage?
My WRs are:
Colston (could have a bad game vs. Carolina) (but has been getting targets)
Harvin (injury issues) return yardage as well
Garcon (doing well)
Collie: First game back...so.....??
J. Jones (Hou): Kick returns in a high-scoring game w/SD, who have bad special teams
B. Tate: Kick returns, but he might get a few long balls lobbed his way vs. Cle.
S. Smith (NYG): The rains have started (I'm in Portland, OR), but NYG should have their way w/Seattle
I can start up to 6 (My two RBs are Turner & Felix (ugh))
Any or all of them might blow up or have average days.
I'm leaning towards this:
Harvin (if he plays)
Colston (earned starting rights)
Garcon (Peyton #2)
J. Jones (hoping for lots of SD scoring .. and bad tackling)
B. Tate (doing well with KR, but might get a pass or two...)
S. Smith (Nicks can't catch them all).
This leaves Collie the odd man out....do you agree?
