Thinking about making some crazy moves, support or sanity? Bench Rice? Play Crayton over Colston? Play Tamme at TE because Philly is sue to blitz and he would be a great safety valve (also Addai and Hart are out so many passes from Peyton). THX, WHIR Pick 2: McFadden v. KC Rice v. MIA Blount v. ATL
WR Pick 3 Ward v CIN Calvin v. NYJ Colston v CAR Crayton v HOU
RB: I would stick to Rice and McFadden, especially if a PPR league ! There is a risk Blount wont get the volume he needs in this matchup !
WR: Warning, stay away from Crayton !!! The guy is always in the right team at the right time and thats why we still talk about him but he still drops balls like hotcakes ( I was watching the SD game last week). Ward, Calvin and Colston it is. It is tempting though as this might become a shoot out, but Crayton is 30 times less talented than the other 3, and I would just go with the best talent you have.
TE: This is the real tough one... TB has given only 23 yds to TEs over the last 4, but 2 TDs but the Eagles have given up quite a lot of fantasy points to TE (should be last or so in the league). I think that fact warrants Tamme... at least on paper !
Agreed at RB - Rice and McFadden. I picked up Blount in 3 of my leagues and the guy runs over people but thinking Falcons are gonna go up quick on Bucs, negating the run game for TB.
Agreed at WR - Ward, Megatron and Colston. Did not watch Chargers game last week so cannot verify other post but I would think Chargers/Texans may be a shootout.....making Crayton a possible starter but Colston and Ward have great matchups too and ya never sit Calvin.
Agreed at TE too - Go with Tamme. Manning doesn't care who he's throwing to as long as you run your route and catch it. Philly/Indy WILL be a shootout.
QB - Drew Brees RB - Arian Foster, Ryan Mathews, Trent Richardson, Stevan Ridley, Mikel Leshoure WR - Julio Jones, A J Green, Dez Bryant, Demaryius Thomas, Kenny Britt TE - Jimmy Graham K - Blair Walsh D/ST - Texans
I would mostly agree with the two posts above, but I would bench Colston (going VS car num 4 pass D) Crayton is going VS Hous (32nd ranked pass D) plus Rivers still needs to throw.
I like Blount this week but you have two no-brainers in Rice and McFadden. Go with Tamme vs PHI who can't shut down corners. I like Crayton this week against Hou. help please: viewtopic.php?t=484380
McFadden & Rice - you have to go with your studs here over a rookie whose team could get behind and have to throw alot late in the game
Calvin, Colston & Ward - same thing as above. Crayton is slightly intriguing because of the possibility of a shootout and there are no other options in SD
