Please Help with Two trade offers

Postby KTang58 » Sun Nov 07, 2010 12:55 pm

First, let me tell you my roster:

QBs: Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer (thinking of dropping him to pick up a more reliable backup... maybe Bradford, McNabb, Young)
RBs: CJ2K, Mendenhall, McCoy, Hillis, Moreno, Spiller
WTs: Megatron, Roddy White, Bowe, Bess, Amendola (I have an empty roster spot from dropping A. Gonz)
TEs: Gonzalez, Hernandez (we don't have to use a TE)
K: Hanson
D: Rams, Chargers

The first trade:
Give - McCoy
Get - Miles Austin and Cedric Benson

Second trade:
Give - Bowe and Tony Gonzalez
Get - Knox and Santana Moss

I would really hesitate going for the second one unless I took the first.

Advice??? I'll answer yours.

I like the first one, but not the second one. To me the second trade makes no sense for you at all. Now with the first deal you are trading your 3rd rb for another #1/2wr who would be your #3. I'd say go for it, your team is stacked. As far as dropping Palmer I would drop him and pick up the best available player out there, Indy has had there bye week and Peyton doesn't miss any games, so a back up qb at this point is not needed. Good luck.

I guess my thinking is that if I take the first one, taking the second one means I don't have to wonder if I should play Bowe or Austin in the coming weeks.
