So some desperate (must be right?) teams dropped Vernon Davis and Zach Miller. I have Chris Cooley and the four position on waivers. Some of the ppl in my league don't pay much attention so should I go for Davis or Miller over Cooley, given their injury situations? Should I keep Cooley and one of those guys? Or drop Cooley and get both? I was also thinking about picking up V. Jackson for the playoffs or Michael Bush if he gets dropped for handcuff. Any help appreciated!
12 Team 4 player keeper no strings. Standard roster/scoring except can start TE at flex QB Stafford, Kaepernick RB Foster, McFadden, SJax, Moreno, B. Tate WR D. Thomas, Nicks, D. Moore, Maclin, A. Brown TE M. Bennett K Jani D Lions, Dolphins
Yeah I'd take both of them over Cooley. With all of the issues going on in WAS and McNabb struggling I think it makes it an easier decision.
I'd definitely pick up VJax. I'd probably drop Crayton as Floyd, VJax, and Naanee will be back by Week 12. Plus Ajiratutu is coming on so Crayton MIGHT have one more game of value but after that he is waiver wire material.
Who would you drop for Bush? Wells? I'm not sure I'd drop anyone else. And as long as DMC stays healthy, Wells has more upside. I'd probably stand pat for now. It sounds like Bush might stay out there too.
Should I grab both of them and try to trade? You think I should use a good waiver to upgrade from Cooley to Miller? I think I would definitely do it for Davis, he could be the best TE if Gates goes out.

I agree, I was considering picking up Cooley in my league. I started watching the guy and he gets several targets but not getting into the endzone. Also, the QB issues concern me with him.
You don't need both TE's and TE's have very little value in trades. Put in a claim for Davis first (with dropping Cooley) and ten put in a claim fr Miller (again with dropping Cooley). If Davis is there for you to claim then yo get him for Cooley. If Davis is gone then your claim for Miller will most likely go through (I cant see 2 of the 3 owners above you making claims and both being gone). If you get Davis and Miller is still available when the WW wraps around and nobody has claimed Miller ten your second claim (Miller for Cooley) will be invalid as you no longer have Cooley on your roster. I use this method a lot when I want one of 2 guys on the WW. Note, if you want 2 guys off the WW then make certain that you use 2 different players to drop from you roster otherwise you may miss out on one of them.
This aint a NYC auto garage, if it aint broke, dont fix it.
12 team redraft: Rivers (Q1), CJ (R1), McFadden (R2), B Wells (R3), Caddy (R4), Forsett (R5), AJ (W1), Fitz (W2), Royal (W3), Sims-Walker (W4), V Jax (W5), V Davis (T1), Kaeding (K1), Jets (D1)
Yeah, I think at this point I'm leaning more towards putting in a claim for Davis for Crayton. Then literally wake up at 3 in the morning when the waivers go through and seeing if they are available. I don't think I want to use a good waiver on Zach Miller over Cooley. Does anyone think that Miller is that amazing this year? I do like Oakland, but the last couple of years Miller hasn't gotten the TD's and without the td's hes been getting, he is no better than Cooley. So there is upside, but I could save the waiver for the next Vernon Davis quality play that gets dropped. Wish they would tell me if Stafford is ok, I would drop him if he is out for good with that stupid shoulder...
