Pick up Sidney Rice or McGahee? WHIR 100%

Postby markulous » Sun Nov 07, 2010 11:58 pm

I'm dropping James Jones after tonight. He's inconsistent and can't be relied upon. Next week is their bye and Driver will be back as well.

Should I pick up Rice or McGahee? I have Ray Rice so McGahee would be a nice handcuff. But Sidney could add to my already studly WRs but he's a big risk.

PPR. We start 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, and 1 RB/WR/TE(No TE position).

My roster now:
QB: Orton, Vick
RB: Foster, Rice, Torain, DWill
WR: Nicks, Gates, Calvin Johnson, Mike Williams(TB), Vincent Jackson, James Jones.

I voted Rice because he can impact your roster the most. The Ravens are giving Ray Rice a ton of touches now that he is healthy which leaves McGahee with a few touches here and there with hopes that he may get a TD on one of them. I am not a fan of handcuffs, I want options that can play given a good matchup.

Chilly said that Sidney Rice may play next week and he was warming up on the field today, which is good news. Favre and S. Rice had a good thing going last season. I would pick him up in my league, but someone already beat me to him.

Thanks for the help on the Moss for Jackson trade advice. Pulled the trigger!

Boom goes the dynomite!

yeah take a flier on rice. if r rice gets injured, mcgahee wont be nearly as good and rice is worth the risk if minnesota turns it around
