Pick a RB

Postby taw856 » Mon Nov 08, 2010 2:04 am

I have Arian Foster, Michael Turner and Ray Rice on my roster in a league where I start 2 RBs. I'm looking for a fourth RB to fill out my bench.

Since I'll never use the guy over my studs barring multiple injuries, I've thought about picking up C.J. Spiller -- his next-to-nothing production won't hurt me on my bench and he might have the highest upside among the available backs. I've also though about just handcuffing one of my stars (but which one?), or just taking the current most productive player available.

Who on this list would you want at RB4-bench in my situation?
Mike Hart, Fred Jackson, Marshawn Lynch, Willis McGahee, Jason Snelling, C.J. Spiller, Derrick Ward

I would pick up Jason Snelling. You'll never use Spiller or any of the other available RBs except if 2 injuries happened and if an injury happened to Turner, the most injury prone of your RBs, Snelling would be a great replacement. His upside due to a Turner injury is probably the highest as well as the insurance policy he gives you.

The first response nailed it! Snelling will beast if Turner gets injured-which is a high probability.

You responed to my post about the trade veto that made the player quit.......One thing that I did not want to add until I got a response is that the guy that gave up Chris Johnson, did get caught helping another player last year------he did not play for 5 weeks and then came back and tried to trade his top players to a friend for nobodies. I know we should not have let him play but we all work together. The guy that pulled off the trade --also this year traded Spiller, Braylon, Dez for Jamall charles and miles austin.

would you have given him the benefit of doubt this time?
