Lynch vs. Jacobs....WHIR!!

Postby robito24 » Mon Nov 08, 2010 3:31 pm

Ok so I'm swinging a trade for Gates, and one of Marshawn Lynch or Brandon Jacobs is to be included in the deal.

My other backs are Michael Turner and Cedric Benson, so this guy would be my #3.

So I'd like a guy who could possibly fill in from time to time with a favorable matchup.

So far I'm leaning towards Jacobs, because I think he's safer week-by-week to produce 50-60 yards with the occasional TD, and could become very relevant if Bradshaw went down. The Giants are running it well right now.

Lynch is intriguing but he's so inconsistent I don't know. He's got more opportunity but Seattle is going to be trailing in ball games a lot so I'm not sure they run too much...

If you guys have any input I'd appreciate it, just link me to your thread and I'll help you out!

Definetly more high on Jacobs-and I think when the Giants start playing real teams later this season they will need to run the ball more. BJ could be good for 40 yards and a touch-Lynch basically provides no upside for a crap team..
