Ravens D worth a #1 Waiver Pickup

Postby hwrayner » Mon Nov 08, 2010 11:23 pm

Hey guys,

Looking for opinions on whether or not I should use my #1 waiver order on the Ravens D. I've had the #1 spot for 3 weeks now, just waiting for someone good enough to pick up with it. Now, the Ravens D is available, and my two Ds are San Diego and Miami. I use San Diego the majority of the time, their D is pretty good, but their ST is real bad. That could improve. Miami I'm ready to get rid of I think. The Ravens next matchups - 10 @Atl, 11 @Car, 12 TB, 13 Pit, 14 @Hou, 15 NO, 16 @Cle, 17 Cin

Would you pick'em up with the waiver or wait it out and take the chance no one will grab them?

Thanks, leave your topic link, I will offer my opinion.

Thanks for your help on mine...

I am actually eyeing the MIAMI defence up for our week 15/16 playoffs, so you may not want to drop them. According to our league, Baltimore is actually below Miami (barely), and quite a bit behind San Deigo....I wouldn't bother...

Don't know the make-up of the rest of your league. How many teams? Anybody stuck with lesser D's (other than you)? If you think BAL might make through waivers, I would wait for a WR. Of course, byes are just about done so the liklihood that a good WR or RB is slim. Also, consider that Buffalo gashed the Ravens for 30 points! In my league, BAL is second from the bottom in total fantasy points.

All-in-all, I don't think it's worth it.

Thanks for help with mine.
