So, I'm in a league where one guy has Vick and Rivers and is trying to deal Rivers for a stud WR. He also doesn't like Moss, so I'm hoping I can get Moss and Rivers out of him for Calvin Johnson. Here are our rosters:
Mine (subject to change slightly after waivers)
QB
Ryan Fitzpatrick (Buf - QB)
WR
Calvin Johnson (Det - WR)
Steve Smith (NYG - WR)
Dwayne Bowe (KC - WR)
RB
Adrian Peterson (Min - RB)
DeAngelo Williams (Car - RB)
TE
Vernon Davis (SF - TE)
K
Sebastian Janikowski (Oak - K)
DEF
Kansas City (KC - DEF)
Bench
Mike Williams (TB - WR)
Felix Jones (Dal - RB)
Steve Smith (Car - WR)
Vincent Jackson (SD - WR)
Jeremy Shockey (NO - TE)
Jonathan Stewart (Car - RB)
His:
QB
Michael Vick (Phi - QB)
WR
DeSean Jackson (Phi - WR)
Lee Evans (Buf - WR)
Randy Moss (Ten - WR)
RB
LaDainian Tomlinson (NYJ - RB)
Joseph Addai (Ind - RB)
TE
Jacob Tamme (Ind - TE)
K
Ryan Succop (KC - K)
D
Minnesota (Min - DEF)
BN
Visanthe Shiancoe (Min - TE)
Brian Hartline (Mia - WR)
Marion Barber (Dal - RB)
Nate Kaeding (SD - K)
Philip Rivers (SD - QB)
Austin Collie (Ind - WR)
Do you guys think this is a good trade, or unfair either way?

you're getting good value for megatron, but your greater issue is at RB. you cant make a trade happen there?

It's a good deal, but I'm not sure it makes sense for you. Fitzpatrick has been playing well, so you may not need the upgrade there. Maybe try and deal for a better RB2.

Thanks, my RB2 position is hurting. I'm trying to pick up Portis and Jacobs this week to help shore it up, but neither of them are the real answer. I can probably trade for Rivers this week and trade him for Frank Gore or Steven Jackson next week, but then I have a week w/o CJ and w/o my desired RB. Considering I am 3-6 and more or less have to win out, this doesn't seem like a good plan. Any thoughts on that?

I think it's a great trade for you, especially if you can flip him for Gore before this week's matchups. I'd target him over SJax.

that's my problem, I won't be able to make the other trade until after this Sunday. There's like a 3 day waiting period on all trades.

I would do the trade, you gain a ton of value. Even if you have to wait and trade for an upgrade at RB it is worth it. At 3 and 6 you cant be that far out of the last playoff seed. You have time, and you could land a very nice RB for Rivers.
Help?
