Would This Be A Fair Trade? WHIR

Postby Balcatim » Tue Nov 09, 2010 4:31 pm

I would trade:
Steven Jackson, Brandon Jackson, and Lee Evans

I would get:
Arian Foster

Not sure if Foster owner would even go for it but just wondering if it would be a good deal for both sides. I also have AP and Hillis so Foster would make me a real threat. Or should I offer Hillis in place of SJax? Really on the fence about which will help me more next season. Any help is much appreciated and will be reciprocated.

The trade is fair, but i doubt the guy will go for it since jackson and evans are kind of filler, especially evans (guy's way too hit or miss to rely on weekly).

I'd go for it and hope for the best. Worst that will happen is theyll reject it

Thanks. But you think I'm better off moving SJax than Hillis?

I think jackson has a bigger name-recognition and has multiple seasons of producing while hillis just has half of a season under his belt as a starter. so i think the trade is more likely to go through if you include sjax

Plus hillis will produce good numbers (i feel), so you wouldnt get as good of a value as jackson

Unfortunately the kid I'm trading to doesn't know all that much about football and so I'm not sure he really recognizes how good SJax is. Would the same trade for Gore be fair if this one doesn't happen?

why did you want to get rid of SJax? because I think the change in points will be pretty minimal going from SJax to Gore (Foster is a bit different since he's going to get the ball a lot, especially with andre johnson hurting)

Honestly, I like SJax more than gore because he has bradford. Troy smith may have won a game with the niners, but the broncos defense beat themselves...so i think the niners passing game will struggle which will hurt gore.

I think their schedules are pretty much the same.

But if you really want gore over sjax itd be a fair trade

Outside of a lucky bomb that dawkins and bailey blew, smith wasnt very good...so i think the niners passing game will struggle which will hurt gore.

Thanks a lot. I think you're right about Gore, I'll just stick with SJax.
