Greg Jennings for LT (WHIR)

Postby ViperFujax » Tue Nov 09, 2010 4:37 pm

Its a keeper, 10-man, PPR league, Jennings has 130 total points and LT has 170, so the points favor running backs more

My team (6-3...should be 7-2 but i wont go into that...):
1 QB- Orton, Favre
2 RB- AP, Bradshaw, LT, Hillis, Moreno, Ryan Grant (IR)
3 WR- Wayne, Austin, Boldin, Santana Moss, Lance Moore, Breaston, D. Thomas (its a keeper league)
1 TE- Tamme, Cooley
1 K- anyone
2 D- Miami, Balt, Tenn
Also have two flex spots (WR/RB, TE/WR)

His team (7-2)
QB- Shaub, Ryan
RB- Steven Jackson, LaSean McCoy, Pierre thomas, marion barber, cadillac williams
WR- Jennings, Ward, Owens, Ocho, Holmes, Dez Bryant
TE- Witten, Boss, Vernon Davis
K- who cares
D- Oak, NE

I feel like I am losing on the trade, but having both LT and hillis i always have to bench one of them, plus I would get a good WR in return.

Should I offer this trade/go for someone else/stay put? Thanks

Since you have Hillis anyway I would probably do it. Points-wise you are taking a bit of a loss but one of them is just going to be sitting on your bench every week and Jennings will really help you out at WR.

self-less bump

leaning towards submitting the trade proposal, but im still not 100%. Im not big on doing trades so its one of my weak points

Don't look at the points that way. You need to look at the point differential. Right now you are wasting LTs points on your bench while you have three mediocre WR in there. Find the average difference between your 4th WR every week and what Greg Jennings will produce. I am guessing in the neighborhood of 5 points or so, depending on your scoring settings. You can't tell me that swapping Hillis & LT in and out of the RB spot on a weekly basis will get you those 5 point.

Killer draft to end up with that RB corps. Trade LT.

Why does that guy have TO-CHOCINCO on his team. He needs to split that tandem up and I think you could swing a two-fer trade: LT & Austin for Jennings & TO (I would get rid of anything cowboys)

Also, pick up Nate Washington and stick him in your flex spot. Its a calculated risk: he might put up the best numbers on your team this week, but he probably won't get less than your worst WR.

Help me with mine? viewtopic.php?f=19&t=484670

thanks guys

I decided not to go after TO. I think he'd reject that, especially after he exploded last night. Plus, i have confidence in boldin and wayne being main WR's, so if i have jennings id be set with 3 good WR's in my mind. Austin is more of a keeper than expecting him to produce, but he did do well a couple weeks ago.

I threw in breaston, so Breaston and LT for Jennings. Then I picked up portis off the FA list since hell be back this week or next and dropped my kicker. hopefully he accepts than I have an extra spot for my kicker.
