Brain-busting Trade, Need Your Help. WHIR

Postby Perfectibilist » Tue Nov 09, 2010 6:25 pm

10 team, redraft, H2H ESPN Standard league

I have too many quality RBs, but need help at WR for my championship run. This one guy has the opposite situation, but a compromise is hard to reach. His final offer was:

(his) Austin, Mathews, Garcon, S Rice for
(my) Gore, Charles

My RBs and WRs are:

RB: Gore, Charles, S Jax, Hillis, Bradshaw, J Stew
WR: S Moss, S Smith(Car), Britt, Branch, Bess

I can start 2-3 RBs and 2-4 WRs so I basically have 2 top-15 backs sitting on the bench every week. Does this trade help my WR depth enough to justify?

Thanks for your help, and post your link for me to HIR.

I wouldn't do it. Austin is way too inconsistent to give up those caliber backs. Matthews is just going to sit on your bench so the biggest help would be Rice once he is healthy. If you could get a better WR than Austin it would be something to consider but you're getting taken on this one.

Kinda what I was thinking. He has C Johnson, White, Lloyd, Austin, Garcon & Rice, but he isn't willing to give up ANY of his elite WRs so I guess he's just going to have to suffer.

Yeah if you could get White or Megatron instead of Austin then it could be worth it but if not i'd stay put.

Agree with the other poster, not a good deal for what he's giving up...

It seems like you might want to propose a deal with Bradshaw for like Austin/Rice...

You'd give up a solid RB, but get a shot at one of the two WRs performing for you....

My trade dilemma:
