After last night's Gronk explosion, what are the other Hernandez owners out there thinking? If you're like me, the options on the waiver wire are guys like Olson, Celek and Gresham. Are you trusting that Hernandez' turn will come next or do you feel like you can't trust this situation? All I know is I'd hate to see last night happen again in week 16.

I think I'll still take Olsen over Gronk, but it has to be Gronk over the others you listed. Probably Gresham next. I'd bail on Hernandez if Olsen or Gronk was available for sure.

OK, here's the thing in NE. Hernandez is the pass-catching TE. Alge Crumpler is the blocking TE. Gronkwoski is the "in-between" guy. Against a team like Pitt, it's no surprise the two best blockers were in the game; Crumpler was doing a ton of pass-protecting, Gronkowski got most of his work in on play-action.

Basically, you have to think about the team NE is playing before deciding which guy to play. Against a team like Pitt, NE went with mass-protect or play-action to keep people off Brady. Against a team likely to sit back and play cover 2, you want Hernandez. Next week, I'm not sure who you want. Cover 2 favors Hernandez; the fact that I think the Pats will want to run the ball favors gronkowski. I'd probably go with Hernandez this week, since he's more likely to get "consistent" yards/catches.

Cut this guy awhile ago for Moeaki. Who the heck knows what Bill will do. Gronk is and probably will continue to be the red-zone target. Hernandez is the guy in-between the 20's.

It was package specific, as Gronkowski is in for 3 WR sets while Hernandez is in the base package.

I know a lot of people were burned by him last week but now isn't the time to cut loose. I would pick him up in all leagues he's dropped or make trade offers right now. Gronkowski was a one week wonder.

Gronkowski is 6'7", so he is going to get some looks in the red zone. Hernandez is fast with good hands, so he is also going to get looks. New England plays a lot of two tight end sets (and the occasional three tight end set), thus it is not like the Gronkowski is going to get playing time to the disadvantage of Hernandez:Tom Brady just likes to spread the ball around.
