Anyone have any amazing comeback stories with Vick?

Postby ICanGoAllTheWay » Tue Nov 16, 2010 12:11 am

Did anyone have any crazy Vick stories from Monday Night Football. I don't think I've ever seen a performance from both a pure football perspective and a fantasy football perspective. Since Vick played in the last game of the week (monday night football), did anyone have any crazy come from behind wins or anything like that. I was down by 80 points going into the Monday Night Game, with only Vick left to play and I thought I had a chance for a second, but I still lost by about 20. The guy I played put up the highest point total of the year in our league so that's why I was down by so much.

We're a TD only league (4 pts for passing TD/6 pts for all other) plus a 3 pt bonus for 300+ yard passing/100+ rushing/receiving games. The guy that had Vick was down 48-20 going into Monday night and got 31 points for his effort. He would've won except that his opponent had DeSean Jackson and he got 6 points giving him a 54-51 win. Even funnier is that the team with Vick also had Brent Celek and he didn't get anything (he had Gronk from NE on his bench too...ouch.)

I'll vent as well since I was up 9 points going into the game and my opponent had Akers. He ends up with 8 extra points and one FG to beat me by 2. That's the third time this year I was tied or winning going into Monday night and I lost by 6 points or less. Frustrating.

I was only down by 15 points... but it didn't look good as I had Vick going and he had Torain, who seemed to be good to go until he hurt himself in warmups.

I blew him out of the water. :-D

Im just on ESPN's I think it is standard....20 yrds passing = 1 pt....Both passing and rushing tds are 6....every 10 yards rushing= 1 pt

333 yards = 18 ( 1 bonus point for being between 300-399 passing yds)
6 TD's= 36
80 Yd rushing= 8

=62 total

Cool story bro.

The part that doesn't make sense though is that you WON.

Desean Jackson/Santana Moss had 130 yards and 1 TD of total offense.

Instead of down 60 now you are down ~19+60=79. Vick scores you 65 and you lose by 14.
