For a QB in standard it's the "fantasy era" record.

Portis owns the single game record set in 2003 week 14 vs KC - 218 rushing, 5 TD, 36 rec. = 55.4 pts.

I was down 107 to 62 going into Monday night's game, I had Vick and Torain, he had Santana Moss. Ended up winning 113 -111.

I do remember that cause I owned Portis that year. It was a monster week for me. I remember that Garcia was my QB and he totally blew up that week. He threw for 4 and ran for 2. Together alone they netted me almost 100 points. Also had Moss who gave me 25 more points.

I started Vick over Orton. Well Orton had a huge day (300 yards, 4 TDs) so Sunday night I was feeling pretty stupid. Then Vick goes and outscores him by almost 30 in my scoring format (65 to 37). I would've still won with Orton but Vick made what should have been a competitive game look like a blowout.

I was fortunate that I didn't have to go against him in any league.

I spent the first portion of monday night in awe. Then I realised in my money league where the highest weekly scorer gets a prize my lead at the top was rapidly diminishing to the Vick and DeSean Jackson owner.

Spent the second half begging for Vick to be pulled and eventually hung on by a few points.

I was doing something else when the game started and I remember checking the Yahoo app on my phone to see what Vick was doing. Saw that he had 26 already with 5 min to go in the first. I remember thinking are you sh*tting me?
