Pick up Keiland Williams? WHIR

Postby saemick » Wed Nov 17, 2010 8:34 am

Williams is available, so should I drop another RB for him? Here's my roster:

12-team, .5pt per reception
QB: Vick, Cutler
RB: Gore, Hillis, M. Bush, Fred Jackson, Tolbert
WR: Fitz, Jennings, Crabtree, M. WIlliams (TB), Dez Bryant
TE: Hernandez
K: Prater
D: NE
Scoring: 10yds rush/rec = 1pt, 25yds pass = 1pt, TD = 6pts, fumble/int. = -2pts
Start: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, RB/WR, TE, K, DST

I'm leaning toward dropping Bush for him, but is it worth it?

Maybe Tolbert

Williams will get you some PPR, and if Portis and Torain are hurt, he will do well.

So you would drop Tolbert over M. Bush?

Just picked him up after hearing DWill went to IR this morning. I'd drop Tolbert for him first, Bush second. Good luck!

I agree about Tolbert, but won't he still get TD's, whereas Bush's only value comes IF McFadden gets hurt, right?

I don't know about "only" value. But I see that Mathews may not even play this week, so it's possible that today, Tolbert has more value than Bush. I see Bush still getting 8-10 touches a game even with DMC healthy, but maybe I'm overvaluing him.

Drop Bush. DO NOT DROP TOLBERT. Don't listen to these people, Tolbert is likely going to start this weekend against a bad Denver defense. Mathews sprained his ankle in week 9 and will likely miss this game. When he sprained his ankle earlier in the season he missed about 3 or 4 weeks. He was in a walking boot earlier in the week, so I doubt he will be ready to go. I think Norv Turner rests Mathews because he has a pretty effective back up in Tolbert. Drop Bush.

Tough question, probably drop Bush, because he only has real value if McFadden gets hurt... Tolbert has a much better shot cus Matthews is always hurt and ineffective. I don't think Crabtree is amazing either so I'd be fine with any of those guys. Although im in a 10 team league, so those guys are all on the WW line week in and week out in our league.
