A couple of waiver ideas- WHIR

Postby twakeman » Wed Nov 17, 2010 8:19 pm

Hey guys, 5-5 season has reached a huge game this weekend. I am currently starting 2 guys who have been major disappointments to me this season, but I see some guys on the waiver wire who I am thinking of grabbing as one week replacements.

Currently I am playing:

Ronnie Brown vs. Chicago
Visanthe Shiancoe vs. Green Bay

But I could get:

Keiland Williams vs. Tenn
Rob Gronkowski vs. Indy (my opponent is starting A. Hernandez)

Would either of these moves make sense? I play in a 16 team PPR league.

I will be happy to help with yours, just leave a link.

I think you'd be getting riskier making these moves, with not too much payoff. Tennessee is stout and who the hell knows what bellichek is doing with his 3 TE sets.

Your hernandez leads into my dilemma....help?

Start Shiancoe
If Torrain doesn't practice this week, go with Keiland. Ronnie Brown stinks and Ricky Williams has been better. Worst case scenario Portis and Torain come back, but I wouldn't worry much about Portis for a few more weeks.

Funny, I have Williams and Portis. I'll put in the claim on Williams and see what happens. I think I'd feel more comfortable with him than Brown. Thanks for the help.
