I was really hit-and-miss on football watching the last couple of days, but I caught someone calling tOSU's uniforms "throwback" unis. Those were throwbacks, were they?

They were retro "throwbacks" I guess. Kinda like what Oregon did a couple times last year.

Oh yeah, by the way, for those who continue to think Oregon fans are crazy for thinking opponents are faking injuries....

It gets pretty obvious sometimes. Sad thing is, Oregon fans see it and it looks like they boo an injured player. The 'cheater' football-flopping tactic lends itself to the mistaken booing of a player who really is hurt. Cheaters. I don't like it one little bit. :-t

Yeah I don't like the current trend of our fans booing nearly every time the opponent suffers an "injury." I realize there have been many instances where players have clearly been faking injuries, at least one confirmed, but it's just too difficult to say whether a player is truly injured or not. Especially at the game where there are few replays. I'd like to see fans wait and watch, and if a player goes down then hurries right back into the game on the next play, then boo away. It doesn't look good to do it while the player is laying on the turf. I guess that's what happens when fans see this happening week after week though. Still don't care for it though.

I agree. Save the booing until you know for sure. One good example... remember Stanford? learly faking and came popping back in the next play. Got boo'd hard. Then you hd the Wr who really got hurt and the place was silent until he got up. Applause. Problem is, as a fan, you don't really know, so the Oregon faithful have made a rew mistakes. It looks bad. Solution: QUIT FAKING INJURIES YOU CHEATERS!!

:-C

Good article

Coach Chip Kelly called the first half of the win over Arizona State in September "like a World Cup game," filled with Sun Devil defenders diving to the turf like soccer divas
