Upgrade RB #2 spot ?? WHIR

Postby Thor » Mon Nov 22, 2010 4:54 pm

Roster and scoring in signature

I'm in first place in record (.5 game lead) and total points(20 pt lead).
We don't have playoffs, we play 17 weeks for best record and most total points

Bradshaw has been solid as my #2 RB, but he has slacked off lately and Jacobs has been eating into his points.

I have Best and Greene on the bench.

I think I have Miles Austin to use in a deal to upgrade #2 RB with VJax coming back

Are any of these RBs worth the trade for an upgrade and what should I offer?

L McCoy ( I like him just because he doesn't share many carries and gets receptions)
Forte ( also main RB, but sooooo inconsistent)
Charles(shares carries)

or a crazy offer, would you make this deal?
I give Calvin Johnson and Bradshaw for Chris Johnson and Mike Thomas

Man I almost like Bradshaw over all those guys. McCoy is a really nice option, but i'm still not sure how Vick affects his game. Don't pay attention to last nights stats. If anyone watched the Giants/Eagles game, they would have saw McCoy did NOTHING through 3 quarters. I think he had 10 carries for 13 yards. And then in the 4th he got a run of 50 yards and 40 yards, so he ended up over 100 yards. But if it wasn't for the breakdown in the defense, he would have had a terrible game. Charles bothers me because it seems like Thomas Jones gets more of the goal line carries than Charles. I would just hate to own Charles and see Thomas Jones gets the TD's. And I hate Forte because Martz never wants to run.

Stick it out one more week with Brad and see how not having Nicks and Smith affect him. I think the Giants run the ball a lot more, by I think defenses may stack the boxes more. If you feel like Brad isn't your guy, I'd trade for McCoy.

Being an Eagles fan I know all about McCoy. Yeah, that one long run saved his stats for the week.
Bradshaw has been solid, but between Jacobs and the injured WR corp I'm getting a little worried.

I stay put. Coughlin has already said Bradshaw isn't losing his job over the fumbling issues, and with VJax coming back you have a solid roster.

Help me out.

I'm actually in the same position as you. IMO McCoy is an upgrade over Bradshaw. Granted, don't look too much into 1 game (i.e yesterday), but like you said Jacobs is stealing his carries, especially if he keeps fumbaling. Bradshaw is NOT a sure bet to stay healthy either. I think McCoy has a better schedule the rest of the way.

If you can get CJ with the trade you posted, then I would do it. He has a great schedule the rest of the way and you can afford to sacrafice depth- your team is stacked as is. Good luck the rest of the way!

Best is done. You can safely drop him, or if you're sneaky and the other guy is dumb, trade him for someone who has two good feet.
