Gates just walked onto the field for warmups, eying his foot with each step. Now stretching. We'll see how he looks. Still think he plays.

Antonio Gates tore the plantar fascia in his right foot during Week 8 -- the foot opposite the left toe and ankle injuries that have hobbled him for the past two weeks. He's now got significant injuries on both feet. Gates sought a medical opinion for plantar fasciitis last May, but it hasn't been a regular season problem until now. "My (right) foot was on fire," said Gates, who suffered the new injury in the second half of last Sunday's win. Many people find it difficult to walk for multiple weeks after popping their plantar fascia. Predicted foot specialist Dr. Phillip Kwong, "It’s going to be really tough to play with any proficiency this Sunday. ... This injury will make it difficult for him to push off and be explosive." I just put in a trade to get Roddy White for Antonio Gates. The guy wanted Gates so bad for weeks and I wouldn't budge for anyone but Roddy and he finally accepted. In his joyful glee I hope he clicks accept without looking lol.

I play the rivers and gates owner, so this is a blessing for me...think i'll start mcmicheal over tamme and danials this week.

Monday, Gates had to be driven to his car in a cart because he couldn’t walk.
