I just got offered Jamaal Charles + McFadden for Gore. I'm tempted to accept this.
Gore doesnt get much in the way of yardage, and the niners are usually playing from behind. His saving grace is the number of reception he gets, which really helps given I am in a PPR league. I see myself as a virtual lock for fantasy playoffs. Is Gore a logical sacrifice for Charles + McFadden? I also get Brandon Marshall but due to his dip in performance he is kind of a moot point. I'd have to drop Lee Evans and Bernard Scott to make room. Leave a link! Thanks!

Easily. You get better depth at RB and McFadden has a cake playoff schedule. Charles doesn't have the best playoff schedule but neither does Gore. Yes McFadden is an injury risk but Gore is just as likely to get hurt. I have Gore on my team and would do this deal. I'm not in a ppr though so I'm not sure how many more points that gives Gore.
I would also keep Marshall over Scott while Nicks is injured. Marshall may be down lately but you have plenty of backs better than Scott and Marshall is still the star of the team so they will keep trying to get him involved in the offense.

Agreed I like this for sure. IN fact I would probably accept McFadden for Gore straight up he is a great buy candidate right now and has soem great playoff matchups. If possible, just make sure you handcuff him with bush though because DMC is pretty fragile.

Agree with above posters. You add depth at RB which is vital in a functionally 3RB league and manage to do so without losing talent at other positions. Sure it will hurt a bit to not have Gore in your lineup, but I think your overall production will improve and you should pull the trigger.
