Trade veto issue!

12 team PPR league. I'm in 3rd place.

I got D. Brees from the 4-7 team for Eli. Manning and Larry Fitzgerald. I have the depth at WR to do it and he just lost H. Nicks. The 4-7 team plays the first and second place teams the last two weeks of the season and could arguably upset the playoff seeding with a win or two.

The comissioner (First Place) vetoed the trade and said it was "unfair".

I was pissed. I beleive this trade was fair and balanced. Sure, not everyone should "like" it because its an upgrade for me at QB but it was not cheating.


What do you think???

I guess it depends on your league scoring, but I don't think it's unfair. The other owner is downgrading at QB to pick up another WR. And it's not a crazy downgrade from Brees to Eli in most leagues.

As a commish, the only time I would even consider vetoing a trade is if I suspect there is collusion between 2 owners... and that doesn't seem to be the case.

Now the question becomes.... what are you gonna do about it?

In our league it's 4 points per passing touchdown and 6 points for all others. Making less of an issue!

It shouldn't have been vetoed but it was! What could I do about it???

good trade for both teams. I actually like the Eli/Fitz side of the deal more
