I only start 1 with my WR being strong & taking the flex spots. I have Ricky Williams, Addai & Brown, Reggie Bush & Snelling. I have the top waiver spot & see Gerhart & MMorris & Ivory sitting there.
Do I drop Bush for Morris? How likely is Best to come back? Can wait on news about AP, but how well can Gerhart fill in if AP is hurt? Why would I consider Ivory when I already have Bush - it's bad enough having both Addai & Brown...
Do I drop Bush or Brown - or another? My thinking is to hold Snelling (if Turner goes down he's obvious). While N.O. seems to want to work in Bush, they face tough defense vs. rush moving forward
thoughts?
my team (we play Q, R, W, 3 flex, TE, K, Def - 5 bench slots) Q: Eli & Cutler W: Rdy White, A. Jeffrey, D. Bess, R. Meachum, J. Nelson, R: I. Redman, M. Leshoure, B. Powell, C. Johnson (sux) T: V Davis K: Gould D: NYG
Some may think I'm crazy, but given the way the Colts just can't run because of their deplete 'O' line as shown against the Chargers last night, I'd drop Brown & p/u Gerhart. Now Gerhart is still being worked in, but showed he's starting to get it (if you saw the Redskins game, you'd understand).
That all said, w/o knowing what your league is, until Bush is a factor (Julius Jones & Ivory basically got all the touches on Thanksgiving), I'd keep Bush on the bench. Snelling will get his touches, but Turner is the guy as we all know.
Bottom line: play Ricky, then Gerhart if AP is not playing.
Definitely pick up Maurice Morris. Only healthy starting RB for the Lions, who have a great offense.
You can drop Addai, and maybe Brown. The Colts aren't going to be running the ball anytime soon, too many issues at the Offensive Line to allow it. Reggie may get better in time, but don't expect too much too soon. Snelling is only startable if Turner goes down hard.
Pick up Ivory and Morris, and drop Addai and Brown. Best won't be back.
Thanks for the help on mine. In my opinion, you're better off having guys that are going to help your team the most right now rather than waiting for guys to get hurt. That being said, I'd drop Snelling and Bush to pick up Morris and Gerhart. If it looks like AP is going to play I'd probably go for Ivory instead but that backfield is a bit confusing.
it got more complicated (in a good way) with Westbrook & Dixon added to the mix. I'm leaning toward westbrook above all other options. With Gerhart - AP will be back some time. With Ivory - beside tougher defenses, who knows who gets the ball. I like Morris, but I think they play tougher teams than SF...
